“BOWL-N-SHINE IN REVIEW”

By Jerry & Penny Miller

The weather man promised sunshine and he delivered!  The weather was perfect for a car show.  Twenty-seven cars basked in beautiful sunshine at the Annual Bowl-N-Shine at Glacier Lanes in memory of Brian Miller.  Twenty-four bowlers had fun showing off their bowling talent, and we almost saw a perfect 300 game bowled before it was spoiled in the tenth frame.  Scott Gibb, one of Brian's friends, ended up with a nice game of 275.  Larry Miller and his employees did a great job hosting this show, and we very much appreciate all they have done for us.  We would like to thank all of you who brought out your cars and dusted off your bowling balls to participate in this event.

The following are the winners of the unique bowling pin trophy:

            Brian Card                                1966 GT Coupe

            Rob Ogden                                1993 GT

Doug and Carol Peters            1989 Saleen

Alexander Card also received a bowling pin bank for being the youngest person present at the show.  He is only six weeks old and already has his own mustang.  Larry Russell presented Dick Knight with the perpetual plaque donated by Ned Bellinger.  This plaque is given, in jest, to the least improved bowler.  We all enjoyed the wedding cake brought in by the newly married couple Larry and Tannette Russell.  Congratulations to you both!

Again thank you to all of you who came to this event and took the time out from your busy lives to remember a young man who loved Mustangs and bowling - Brian Miller.

Whatever would we do without our Mustang family!!!!!!

HELP NEEDED NORTHWEST HARVEST

This time of year can be tough for families in our region who struggle to make ends meet and put food on the table.  Mustangs Northwest is dedicated to serving the local community, and I would like to challenge you to continue that support by bringing in additional food or monetary donations to the December General Meeting.

Together we can Stamp out Hunger!
