Well, the car show & event season is finally in full swing—and if you missed our unofficial kick-off, “Spring Into Summer”, then you really missed out!  Not only were there 40+ gorgeous cars to feast your eyes on, but the great friends, good food, and a seemingly endless supply of incredible weather, made the day a great one.  And let’s not forget to thank our generous sponsors and gracious hosts!  Thanks to the generous support of Ford of Kirkland, and Remlinger Farms serving once again as the backdrop for our show, Mustangs of both the mammal and machine varieties shared the same grounds and could be seen side by side.
Although, no offense to our hosts, but I must say that I definitely prefer our club’s ponies to the ones resident to Remlinger Farms—My family and I spent the day in the Remlinger Farms Family Fun Park (which we all loved and strongly recommend for any of you with little ones!) and when I walked beside my daughter as she rode “Blueberry” the pony, I could sense that “Blueberry” was not too happy with my presence.  Just after I observed the laid-back ears and was pointing out to the guide that something seemed amiss, I received a swift kick in the leg.   Ouch!  Somehow, I can’t imagine any of OUR club’s ponies doing that!  Although, maybe there are stories that I just don’t know about yet?  Could be a very interesting future newsletter article!
Wherever this summer takes you, I hope that you make lots of memories with the ones you love.  (I just hope those memories don’t involve getting kicked in the leg by a pony!)

Wishing you Great Weather and Happy Cruising!
