Car Of The Month - July 09
Recie’s 1966 Black Coupe
Drema’s daughter Saresa (nickname-Recie) was born 10/5/05 and came into this world her way. Over the months of growing, she established her own style and opinion. One of her first words was “Musstang” and could she pick them out on the highway! While riding down the road in the car, she would pick them out and tell us “Musstang”! Even though she didn’t know the year, she knew the car.
There was a period of time when she, her mom, and brother lived with her grandparents, and that is when the birth of her car became a reality. She would come into the shop and sometimes sit for hours on the stool watching grandpa work on the cars. She would ask questions as to what he was doing and why. It was during one of her visits to the shop with her grandpa that she picked out her car. As she was pointing out grandpa’s car, grandma’s car and mommy’s car she came across a little black 1966 Coupe and her 
decision was made. Grandpa and she had the argument of “Grandpa’s car - No Recie’s car” for a period, and in the end, when she didn’t back down, Grandpa threw up his arms and Recie had her car.
The wheels for the car will be what are on the back right now after they have been polished up.
There will areas of the car that have her personality imprint and I am sure the little pixie in her will get some things done her way.
