From The Prez - Nov 09
November 11th is Veterans Day. I would like to personally thank each and every veteran in Mustangs Northwest for their service, dedication and sacrifice for our great country. Freedom is the most precious gift of all and it only comes from people like you who step up to the call.
Now along with that same theme of stepping up for what you believe in, I want to send out a huge “Thank You” to the newly nominated officers who stepped up to help run this great club in 2010.
One position that remains to be filled is that of club Secretary. Connie Trine has done a fantastic job the past three years and is stepping down, which leaves a void that most certainly needs to be filled. I urge you to consider filling this very important club position.
As it turns out again this year, all of the 2010 officer positions are running unopposed, so in the interest of saving the club the expense of ballots and postage, the board decided to have ballots available at the November general meeting.
That brings me to the next phase - and that would be to enlist the help of new board members. We currently have several openings that we need to fill, as some Board members have decided to step down. Please consider being nominated for a Board position and help steer Mustangs Northwest down the road and into the future.
So again, please help out your fellow Mustangs Northwest club members by stepping up and taking on a much needed position on our board!
