From The Prez - Mar 10

Well here we are and it’s March already!  Time sure flies when you are having a good time!  The February meeting is now behind us and we continue to march forward towards our greatest undertaking yet.  As I wrote in my February Column:

“This will be a very important year for Mustangs Northwest.  We will be hosting the 2010 MCA Grand National & 30th Annual Mustang Roundup.  This is a unique opportunity for our club to show mustang enthusiasts from all over the United States (and the world) how we do things!  With your help we will make this the best MCA Grand National Show ever!”

At the March General Meeting we will begin circulating the Volunteer Book for this event.  Pulling off this event to the standard that we have set, will take as great an effort as any of us have seen before.  I know that we will do it, but filling up the volunteer timeslots in the Volunteer Book as quickly as possible will take a lot of stress and worry off of the Grand National Show Committee.  Please plan on attending the meeting and signing up for your favorite events and assignments!

Although we are focusing on the 2010 Grand National Show & 30th Annual Mustang Roundup, there are other things that continue to go on.  We have monthly general meetings, monthly board meetings, Judging Committee meetings, and soon will be starting the 2010 car show season.  On top of that, we all have family, personal and work related activities going on.  I know that your time is valuable, and I want to do everything that I can to make sure that the time you spend on Mustangs Northwest activities is “well spent”.

If you have ideas for club activities or suggestions on how we can make your experience in the club better please contact me, or any board member to discuss your ideas.

That’s all for now, I look forward to seeing you all at the March meeting.

Feel free to email or call me anytime you have questions or concerns.
