From the Prez - June 10
By the time you read this column it will be June, and we will be fast approaching the mid-point of 2010. Where the heck did the time go? They say that “time flies when you are having a good time”!
Speaking of a good time, I hope you were one of the many who attended the 2010 Spring Into Summer Show at Remlinger Farms. What a great experience it was! The weather was wonderful and there were lots of cars that I had not seen previously. Congratulations to all that participated. Thanks to the Judged Committee for a great show!
It was very satisfying for me on a personal note as Deana (your MNW First Lady) participated in her first “judged show” with her 2005 Mustang. It was fun to watch her participate at the judging seminar and take advantage of what she learned when she prepared her car for the show. Congratulations to Deana for taking
While Head Judge Bill Johnson was presenting the awards at Spring Into Summer, he was able to provide some information to us regarding MCA. It seems that Mustangs Northwest has the third largest number of MCA members of all of the Regional MCA Clubs! That is way cool! If we meet the 100+ MCA Member Challenge that I began in March we will move up to the number TWO spot! That would be a great accomplishment for us as a club.
Preparation for the MCA Grand National Show in July continues at a very fast pace. The Grand National Show Committee has been working feverishly putting everything together. The Grand National Event Flyer and Posters were made available at the May General Meeting! T-Shirts will also have been available by the time you read this!
The “Volunteer Book” continues to make appearances at our General Meetings. We still need lots more positions filled! You can contact Robin Mitchell to volunteer and reserve a spot for your favorite volunteer opportunity at the Grand National Show (you don’t need to wait for the General Meeting – Give her a call).

That’s all for now, I look forward to seeing you all at the June meeting.
Feel free to email or call me anytime you have questions or concerns.
