From The Prez July 10
After all the months (years) of planning, the 2010 MCA Grand National Show is really here! I hope that you all have signed up to volunteer your time and talents as often as your schedule will allow. Please contact Robin Mitchell to volunteer if you have not already done so, or if you find yourself with additional time to volunteer. We will have guests from all over the world attending this show, so please make them feel welcome!
I hope that each and every one of you has an opportunity to participate and enjoy the Grand National Show. Your show committee has worked very hard to put on the best MCA Grand National Show ever! A special thanks to Jeanie McCain, Lois Robinson and the entire Show Committee for a job well done!
The last few weeks have been really nerve wracking for me as my daughter Jessica spent 3+ weeks in the hospital on bed-rest preparing to give birth to her son. Maddox Villero Miskel was born on Thursday, June 10, 2010 and congratulations go to proud parents Jessica and Charles Miskel. Although he was about a month early, everyone is doing well!
For those of you who have not heard by now, I want to acknowledge the passing of Gale Bellinger on Thursday, June 10th after a courageous two-year battle with cancer. Gale was a joy to spend time with and offered great counsel and support to many members of her Mustangs Northwest family. My condolences go to Ned and all members of the Bellinger family. Gale will live on in our hearts forever!
Just a reminder that my 101+ MCA Member Challenge is still going on and I would really like to exceed my goal!
